Kay and John’s Newland Hall Wedding
Kent Wedding Photographer goes to Essex where Kay and John were married at Newland Hall in Chelmsford on a blustery autumn day, the weather had turned bitterly cold earlier in the week but that did not take away from the warmth of the day. This couple had so many well wishers, family and friends who were truly in awe of the relationship that they share. Kay had John had known each other for some years prior to getting married and it was clear to see that they had grown closer during this time. It was great to be able to do their Essex wedding at Newland Hall, even though I am a Kent wedding photographer, I was excited to shoot at this venue, It is a new venue for me but I have heard great things about Newland Hall and it didn’t disappoint.
Newland Hall was perfect for this wedding. It is an intimate venue which suited the size of the wedding. I loved the fact that the building had a mixture of old and new features which could be exploited for photographic purposes. It was a shame that the day was so cold, it was not fair to keep Kay and John outside for too long for the couples shots, therefore we needed to work quickly and get them back in to the warm with their guests, however, the grounds at Newland Hall had some fantastic photographic opportunities that I would definitely hope to use more if I return to this venue in warmer weather.
All in all Kay and John had some amazing people around them which made certain that their day was always going to be a hit no matter the conditions. Everyone had a blast in the evening and I had the best time, feeling more like a treasured guest than their wedding photographer. I wish them all the best for the future and I hope you like the small selection of photographs that I’ve selected to showcase their day.
