Frequently Asked Questions
What Kind of a wedding photographer are you?
I mostly shoot documentary style photography, this means I like to blend in as a guest and capture the story of your wedding from the guest’s perspective. Although I will occasionally insist on having the best view points and good lighting ( I can be demanding like that sometimes). I do take some posed photos, these are mainly of the bride and groom and some group photos. I won’t keep you standing around too long, however, I know how important it is to get back to your guests to enjoy the rest of your day.
We're really camera shy, is that a problem?
I can count on one hand the number of couples who were confident in front of the camera. Being camera shy is not an issue in fact my style of photography is probably the best antidote. I’m not constantly trying to get your attention and waving a camera at you. I like to capture the more genuine moments throughout the day, you will forget I’m there most of the time.
With my full day packages I include an engagement shoot so you can see how easy it is to great images without feeling too uncomfortable, in fact even the most ardent introverts, afterwards admit how much fun they found the engagement shoot and how relieved they are about me photographing their wedding. They also get some amazing images to show off to friends and create hype on social media about their upcoming wedding.
